Maple Seed

Growing best in deep, fertile, well-drained soils where moisture is plentiful, this beautiful tree reaches heights of 24 to 30 m (80-100 ft) and diameters of 60 to 90 cm (24-35 in). As early as 1684, there were reports of original peoples tapping this tree for its rich sap. Today, Sugar Maple is the primary source of Canadian maple syrup and maple sugar.  Detailed germination instructions are inside the package.
